APA
The American Poolplayers Association (APA) is the World's Largest Amateur Pool League. Players have a variety of formats and games to choose from.
Games played in the league are 8 ball or 9 ball. Formats include Teams of 5 (mixed or ladies only), Masters Teams of 3, and Scotch Doubles. Additionally, there are singles competitions to help qualify individuals for a large tournament event that consists of all of the games and formats played, including bracketed singles events.
The Equalizer® handicap system allows players of all abilities to compete on an equal level.
APA membership costs $25 (plus sales tax if applicable) per year per person.
Game play typically costs between $5 and $10 per match played per person
Play APA sanctioned Leagues and Tournaments to qualify for larger events, including the Team and Singles Championships

TAP
TAP is one of the fastest growing pool leagues in North America. Differentiated by a comprehensive scoring system, TAP focuses on keeping the playing field level for all levels of players.
Games played in the league are 8 ball, 9 ball and 10 ball. Formats include Teams of 5, and Scotch Doubles and Singles. There are competitions to help qualify for a large tournament event that consists of all of the games and formats played, including singles events.

BCA
The BCA Pool League is a league membership organization that allows pool leagues around the world to "Be Part of Something Bigger." An existing league can join the BCA Pool League and still maintain complete local control.
Games played in the league are 8 ball, 9 ball, 10 ball plus several others. Formats include Teams of 4 or 5 (mixed or Ladies) and Elite (Masters) Teams of 3. Additionally, there are many CSI/BCA sanctioned local and national events to compete in. BCA leagues are typically not handicapped

BCA/CSI membership costs between 12.50 and 25.00 (plus sales tax if applicable) per year per person.
Game play typically costs between $5 and $10 per match played per person

Several different League formats - Singles, 3-man Team, 4-man Team, 5-man Team and Scotch Doubles and League play for 8-ball, 9-ball, 10-ball, Fast 8, Scotch Doubles and Lagger's Choice
NAPA leagues have a robust, and constantly adjusted handicap system, leading to more competitive play and close matches.
NAPA does not charge an annual membership to NAPA players. Once a player plays their first NAPA sanctioned match they immediately become a lifetime member of the NAPA

The Youth program at Stixx and Stones focuses on 8 ball and 9 ball single competition; this provides a good opportunity for instruction and mentoring of the younger players leading to a more enjoyable experience.
